Just a few days after he officially rejoined the lineup, Villainous have cut Connor "Jolts" Haines, marking the third time he has exited the core. The move comes after several unremarkable showings in recent ECL Cups and CROSSFIRE Season 6. Though no official post has been made on Villainous's social media, Jolts posted that he was looking for a new team yesterday.
Several days before that, Villainous's in-game leader Dylan "DYLAN" Frivalt announced that he was exploring options for a move to a new team, though he remains a member of Villainous as of now.
Though Jolts officially stepped down from Villainous on September 21st and rejoined last week, he has effectively been on the team the whole time, as he has continued to play matches with them. A member of the Villainous core since the mouse days, Jolts has averaged a 0.98 rating over 28 maps in the last month, the lowest on the team.
In a comment to Dust2.us, Jolts confirmed he was cut from the roster rather than stepping down himself. He also said he was cut because "they want to pick someone else up," suggesting a replacement is imminent.
DYLAN has also been a part of the Villainous core since they were mouse, but this would be the first time he's left the lineup, if he ends up finding another offer. DYLAN told Dust2.us that he currently has one offer, but will stay with Villainous "if things work out with the potential 5th."
