MOUZ beat FURIA 2-0 on Friday 9 October in the third quarter-final of ESL Pro League Season 24, the second time in six days they have swept the Brazilian roster at this event. The German org took the opener in 50 minutes and closed the best-of-three on the second map in 44.

The scoreline matched the Round 2 meeting on 4 October, when MOUZ also won 2-0. FURIA arrived with a better recent record against this opponent than the result suggests. They had won both of their previous meetings before this event, 2-1 at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 on 12 June and 2-1 at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 on 19 September. Two straight 2-0 wins for MOUZ have now levelled that four-match run at two apiece.

MOUZ have not dropped a map at this Pro League. Their four series here read 2-0 over M80, 2-0 over FURIA, 2-0 over Spirit and now 2-0 over FURIA again. That is eight maps won from eight played.

The power rankings pointed this way. MOUZ sit fourth on a rating of 1905, with a 45-24 record across 69 rated matches. FURIA are 20th on 1765, at 43-30 from 73. Neither map here was quick, but on both occasions the side led by torzsi , Spinx, xertioN, PR and xelex were the ones still standing.

FURIA’s campaign never quite settled into a rhythm. They opened with a 2-0 win over BetBoom Team, lost 0-2 to MOUZ, beat PARIVISION 2-1, fell 1-2 to Aurora Gaming and then handled 9z 2-0 in Round 5 to reach the playoffs. Wins and defeats alternated across all six series, and the second MOUZ result was the one that stopped the pattern from turning in their favour.

For a roster featuring FalleN, KSCERATO and yuurih, alongside YEKINDAR and molodoy, it is a frustrating end to a week that included two series wins without dropping a map. Against MOUZ, though, they took no maps in two attempts.

MOUZ face Spirit on Saturday 10 October, one day before the event closes on 11 October. It is another rematch. MOUZ won the Round 3 meeting 2-0, but Spirit have looked sharp since, beating M80 2-0 in Round 5 and then Team Falcons 2-0 in Quarterfinal 4.

Elsewhere in the last eight, Vitality beat PARIVISION 2-0 and Aurora Gaming beat 1WIN 2-0. All four quarter-finals finished 2-0, so every team still in the event reached this point without dropping a map in the round.

MOUZ already hold one 2-0 over Spirit this month. Saturday decides whether they make it two.
