Su4 Esport came from a map down to beat Cresent 2-1 on Monday 12 October 2026 in the playoff semi-final of the DreamLeague China Open Qualifier 2 for season 30. The best-of-three went the full distance, and two of its three games ran for 55 and 57 minutes.

The comeback came against a side that had already been through this DreamLeague cycle once. Cresent played in the China Open Qualifier 1 for season 30 before arriving at the second qualifier.

Cresent struck first. Game 1 went their way after 55 minutes, leaving Su4 Esport one game from losing the semi-final.

That opener carried weight beyond the scoreline. In Qualifier 1, Cresent lost 0-2 to Cloud Rising and 0-2 to Cloud Dawning, so the win here was their first map victory across their last three series.

The reply was swift. Su4 Esport took game 2 in 18 minutes, by far the shortest game of the series, to force a decider.

Game 3 then became the longest of the three. It lasted 57 minutes and went to Su4 Esport, sealing the 2-1 result and completing the turnaround after the opening defeat.

Both teams came into the semi-final unranked in the Elo power rankings, so neither side arrived with a rating edge to lean on. On the day, the gap between them was one game.

For Cresent, the result stretches a losing run to three series across the two China Open qualifiers: 0-2 to Cloud Rising, 0-2 to Cloud Dawning and now 1-2 to Su4 Esport. Their latest defeat is the closest of the three.

Su4 Esport move on from the semi-final with the win. The qualifier was scheduled for 12 October only, so the rest of its playoff bracket was set to be settled on the same Monday.

Cresent leave the semi-final with one game taken off Su4 Esport. That is one more than they managed against either Cloud Rising or Cloud Dawning in Qualifier 1.
