Day 4 of ESL Challenger League Season 52 Cup 3 has yielded two upper finalists in Chicken Coop and Zomblers. Overtake Sector and Iowa Stormboar were knocked to the lower bracket, where they will next face regain and DETONATE, respectively.
At one point on Mirage, Overtake Sector led the game 7-1, but Chicken Coop managed to turn things around. With 17 frags and a 1.75 rating, Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield's squad stole their opponents' map pick 13-9.
The first half of Cache was a 6-6 stalemate, but Chicken Coop again pulled away on the attacking side. A 20-bomb from Chad "Crisp" Bredeson helped them to the 13-6 win.
Zomblers' choice of Dust2 began with nine straight rounds on their part. While Iowa Stormboar won the last three rounds of the first half and the first three rounds of the second, Zomblers' lead proved insurmountable as they won 13-8.
Nikolaos "Pose1doNN" Antoniou continued to frag out on Mirage, giving Zomblers a comfortable 10-2 lead. Shockingly, they never reached matchpoint, as their opponents put up an 11-round defense to force a series decider 13-11.
The first half of Ancient ended 7-5 in favor of Zomblers, and their T side obliterated Iowa Stormboar in what became an easy 13-5 victory and a successful upper semifinal.
