‘The Mummy’ Movie Reteaming Brendan Fraser And Rachel Weisz Gets A Title

Universal Pictures said Thursday that the next installment in its The Mummy franchise that will r eturn Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz to their starring roles is titled The Mummy: Book of the Dead . The pic remains set to hit theaters on October 15, 2027.

Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are directing the new film from a script by The Family Plan ‘s David Coggeshall. The logline remains under wraps.
